Who can become a member?
“Sønderborg Born” is a community for people aged 18–35 who want to keep their connection to their home town. And it’s completely free to join! We also welcome those of you who may not have been born in Sønderborg but have stayed here for a period.
How to become a member
Become a member by signing up for our newsletter. That way, you’ll always be up to date with what’s going on in Sønderborg and the surrounding area, and you’ll have access to collaborations with local companies in connection with your studies or other activities.
In Sønderborg, we know that young people are our future, which is why we prioritise them and their activities. The first ever Tilting-at-the-Ring Festival Youth Lunch was a great success, with 850 children from Sønderborg – both local residents and those from other towns. Watch the video from the 2023 Youth Lunch in Sønderborg here.
JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP
You can also join our Sønderborg Born Facebook group, which will keep you updated on all the benefits that come with membership. The group offers an opportunity to network with other young people from Sønderborg, even if you may live elsewhere. We encourage you to join the discussions and ask questions about life in Sønderborg, share relevant news from the town or other Sønderborg-related topics you find interesting. We’re all here to help each other.

Have an exciting behind-the-scenes look at our latest Sønderborg Born photoshoot. A backdrop consisting of the GOTO Sønderborg logo carved into an impressive 4×4 metre back wall provided the setting for the filming.
