- Sønderborg is everything we dreamt of
Anne and Fabian Pattberg have known Sønderborg for a long time, and when the German couple longed for more nature and better living conditions, they decided to move 600 km north to the town centre.
The Sønderborg area has over 700 different associations, so there’s plenty to choose from.
If you’re interested in volunteering, you can learn more about the opportunities in Frivillighedens Hus on Perlegade 50, which is the main hub of all voluntary, social and health-promoting work, or read more about becoming a volunteer. Or check out our volunteer guide, which has a list of all the voluntary social and health-promoting associations.
