You will gain practical experience, providing a solid foundation for further development within the health sector.

Pedagogical Assistant

This programme focuses on supporting work with children, young people, or adults in educational institutions, including both daycare centres and other social and educational settings. As a pedagogical assistant, you will develop the skills to support learning, development, and well-being in settings such as daycare, special schools, and after-school clubs. The programme combines theoretical elements with practical experience to prepare you for work in educational environments.

Preliminary Course for GF2 Credit

SOSU Syd offers a preparatory course for students who wish to start a SOSU programme, as well as credit for GF2, which enables recognition of prior experiences and further education in relation to the preliminary course.

Advanced level education at SOSU Syd

EUX Velfærd at SOSU Syd in Sønderborg combines an advanced level education with a social and health education.This means that students will receive both an A-level and a SOSU Assistant qualification at the same time. The programme lasts 4 years and 6 months and includes both school-based education and practical training in hospitals, elderly care, and psychiatry. EUX Velfærd provides opportunities for further education in healthcare, such as nursing or occupational therapy, as well as access to many university programmes. Students receive a salary throughout the programme.

Further education at SOSU Syd

SOSU Syd offers a wide range of further education programmes designed to support employees in the health, care, and educational sectors.
