The GOTO Food Club is an exclusive offer for members of “Sønderborg Born” in collaboration with Sydbank Sønderborg. Here, we prepare a delicious dish together and learn about the best wine pairing for the meal. And of course, we will enjoy the result together. A professional chef sets the menu and teaches us, and the goal is for us to have a great time together, acquire new culinary skills, and most importantly, meet other like-minded people in Sønderborg and build new friendships.
Who can participate in the GOTO Food Club?
The GOTO Food Club is open to all young members of Sønderborg Born – whether you’ve stayed, returned, just arrived in our beautiful corner of Denmark, or are considering moving here. It is created for those of you looking for new friendships, enjoyable moments, and an introduction to the culinary world. You can join alone or bring a friend or partner along.
What can you expect?
Each month, we gather in the cozy space at Sydbank, where there is room for 36 enthusiastic participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to reserve your spot early, as there is high demand. During the evening, the professional chef, Steen from Stenbideren, will guide you through creating a fantastic dish in groups of four. In addition, we typically have special guests from Sønderborg’s gastronomic scene who will share their knowledge about wine, dining etiquette, and much more.
Participants will receive a chef’s folder and a guarantee for delicious food and good company.
